Yin Tang Akupunktur is an in-person and virtual co-working group for parents. Lauren, the group’s founder, asked me to overhaul a couple of the site’s pages, especially the homepage. She wanted the home page to be more engaging and to better communicate what Mumming is all about, while keeping true to the existing brand colours.

Timeline: One Day

To achieve this I used Squarespace, CSS and Adobe to:

• Add additional font styles and an eye-catching underlined effect

• Made more prominent and consistent use of the brand colours

• Create waved dividers between sections on the home page

• Add animation to the header image

• Showcase photography more prominently

• Incorporate the brand’s full colour palette across all elements

• Create custom icons in the brand colours to display information in a clearer, more engaging way

• Improve mobile usability

• Create more prominent ‘Calls to Action’
